Q: Lost Power In Your Perth Rental Property?

Lost Power? Here's What to Do Before Calling Your Perth Property Manager If you're experiencing a power outage, follow these easy steps before reaching out: 🔶 Check if all RCDs are on (Residual Current Devices in your switchboard). 🔶 Visit the Western Power website to check if there’s an outage in your area. 🔶 Unplug all appliances from powerpoints, ensure all RCDs are turned on, then plug appliances back in one by one, checking if the RCDs stay on. This helps determine if any of your appliances are causing the RCDs to trip. If you've tried all these steps with no luck, it’s time to contact your Perth PropertyX property manager to arrange maintenance.

Q: Preventing Mould And Damp In Your Perth Rental Property

When the weather cools down, condensation can build up on windows and walls - leading to dampness and mould if it’s not managed. Here are some easy ways to reduce condensation at home: 🔶Keep a little airflow by opening windows or doors for a short time each day 🔶Use kitchen and bathroom fans during and after cooking or showers 🔶Avoid drying washing indoors, or use a well-ventilated area 🔶Move furniture slightly away from walls to improve air circulation 🔶Maintain a consistent temperature inside your home don’t let it get too cold 🔶If needed, use a dehumidifier to reduce moisture levels Taking these steps helps protect your home and keeps the air healthier this winter.

Q: How to Nail Your Application For A Perth Rental Property

Applying for a rental can feel overwhelming, but a smooth, complete application makes all the difference. Here are my top tips to help you stand out: 🔶Be Prepared: Have your ID, proof of income, rental history, and references ready. The more complete, the better! 🔶Fill Out Everything: Incomplete forms slow things down. Double-check every section before submitting. 🔶Be Honest: Accuracy builds trust - don’t guess or omit important info. 🔶Attach Supporting Documents: Payslips, bank statements, references - these back up your application. 🔶Communicate Quickly: Respond promptly to any follow-ups or requests from your property manager. A well-prepared application shows you’re serious and reliable - increasing your chances of securing your dream rental!

Q: When I View a Perth Rental Property, How Can I Find Out If There Are Any Ongoing Maintenance Issues?

You can ask the Perth property manager if there is any outstanding maintenance work planned. Landlords often take advantage of the time between tenants to complete repairs or small improvements like fresh paint or new carpet. It’s important to know what’s planned and, more importantly, when these tasks will be completed. Make sure to confirm with the Perth property manager if any repairs will be finished before you move in. This ensures you won't be caught off guard by any unexpected disruptions after you’ve settled into your new home.

Q: I've Just Received An Invoice For A Bond Top-up, What Does This Mean?

Bonds are linked to the rent price, so if your rent has gone up, you may have to pay the difference between your old bond and the new amount, known as a bond top-up. For example, if your rent was previously $600 per week (bond of $2,400) and increased to $650 per week (bond of $2,600), you may need to pay a $200 bond top-up.

Anna is a breath of fresh air after staying years with an incompetent company. Anna is professional, knowledgable and quick to respond. The transition from another company was seamless. Thank you Anna, looking forward to working together for many years to come.

We’ve had a great experience with Anna so far and appreciate her transparency and responsiveness along the way. We are renting out our property whilst being based overseas, so Anna was able to ensure we had all the boxes checked and tenants into the property swiftly. Anna was also accomodating of our requests and appreciated that a one size fits all isn’t suitable for every customer, which we really appreciate. Strongly recommend Anna.

We rented a house through them and honestly Anna was super kind and helpful from the inspection. She really took the time to listen to everyone and asked about what we were looking for. We’re very happy with the place we got, it feels cozy and like home. Definitely recommend Perth PropertyX!

We recently moved to Perth Property X as we were dissatisfied with our previous property manager. Already after 2 months we have seen a real difference in the way our property is managed and wished we had moved earlier. Anna is very professional, clearly explains everything in detail and is very approachable. Communication with Anna is easy and having access to the portal keeps us informed with everything to do with our property, a great resource we never had access to with our previous manager. We couldn't be happier with Perth Property X and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional property manager who cares.

Our landlord switched to Perth PropertyX about 6 months ago, and it’s been a total blessing ever since. Our property manager, Anna Szczypczyk, is incredible. Even though we’re tenants, Anna always has our best interests at heart and consistently goes above and beyond. She managed to get the owner to approve new curtains (which the previous agency rejected!) and even had air conditioning installed in the bedrooms without us even having to ask. She’s prompt with repairs and maintenance too. Huge thanks to Anna and the team at Perth PropertyX!
